GRAVITY (2025)
A doorstep philosophy on modern-day gravity.
Or, methods on how to weigh existence.
Originally inspired by Carlo Rovelli's 'Seven Brief Lessons on Physics', Dale takes an interest in discovering 'gravity' through the everyday. A mixture of colour and black and white pictures that survey and ask questions. Some motifs include: waning structures, empty space containment, and existential confrontation.
This doorstep philosophy of gravity considers Dale's direct environment as research and at the same time emotional thought. Unable to actually observe gravity as a 'thing' but by the effects on other materials, Dale begins to see gravity as a way of processing individuality, through desires, anxiety, or as a being able to gain knowledge from observation.
