The Happiest Place on Earth (2020)
... are postcards that treat the senses to Disneyland's fantastical facade! A sickly sweet satire of profit over pleasure. From the sounds of Coca-Cola cans opening to the smell of freshly painted rocks, an awkward tension of unobstructed sites void of tourists, allowing ourselves time to scrutinise and dwell on this idea of happiness. These are postcards that are easily sent and even better received from a place that doesn’t exist except in the minds of its makers.
