The Happiest Place on Earth is a postcard project that treats Disneyland's fantastical facade to a slap of cynicism - a sickly sweet and satirical look at a place entirely intended to produce happiness for profit, rather than pleasure. The images produce an awkward tension as we are able to see these facades unobstructed and void of tourists, allowing ourselves time to scrutinise and dwell on this example of manufactured happiness. These are postcards that no one would want to send, of a place that doesn’t exist except in the minds of its makers
